Victoria [Tinker] Gutjahr passed away at Saint Michael’s Hospital after a short illness on April 30th, 2021 at the age of 78. Victoria was born on May 14th, 1942 to Joe and Mae Tinker in Cashmere Washington.
Victoria graduated from Cashmere High School in 1960. She went on to Wenatchee Junior College and graduated in 1962 as an X-ray Technician. Her first job was in Seattle Washington at Saint Frances Cabrini Hospital. In 1963 she then met [who was to be her husband] Arthur Gutjahr.
She retired in 2010 and in August 2011, she suffered a stroke which she fully recovered from. On January 1st, 2013 she suffered from another stroke and seizure, she also fully recovered from that as well. It was then decided to sell their home and move into a Senior Housing, which was Claremont East.
Victoria loved life, she enjoyed playing any card games, she also loved playing bingo or going to the casino. Victoria and three other ladies used to play at Pinochle one night a week and she and her friend Maggie Toprres spent many hours at Muckleshoot Casino playing bingo.
Victoria was preceded in death by twin sons, her father Joe Tinker, her mother Mae [Richmond] Tinker, her brother Joe Tinker, her niece Terri Walters, and brother-in-law Mo Guldenzapf. She has requested that he remains be cremated.
