On Sunday, October 13, 2019, Brian Steven Gast of Bainbridge Island, Washington, passed away at the age of 64, after a long battle with posterior cortical atrophy.
Brian was born April 20, 1955 in Marion, Ohio, to Loren and Dolores Gast (Pitts) of Prospect, Ohio. His father preceded him in death.
He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1972. He was a decorated veteran of the United States Army, having served his country for over twelve years. He was retired from a career in construction and architectural restoration. Brian enjoyed military history, was an avid music lover, an accomplished drummer, he loved to fish, and was a collector of Native American art. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and generous spirit.
He is survived by his partner, wife, and best friend of 26 years, Andrea (Fleming), his mother, Dolores Gast of Prospect, Ohio, a brother, Bruce Gast (Bonnie) of Prospect, Ohio, a sister, Judith Gast of Columbus, Ohio, along with aunts, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and his beloved dog Dobie AKA LittleMan.

According to his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Final arrangements are with Tuell-McKee Funeral and Cremation Services.
