Rublee Ellen Davis

Born in Texas on February 8th, 1944 a loving daughter of the late Harold and Ruble (née Hall) Wolfertz, Rublee passed away peacefully at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation on Tuesday June 22nd, 2021 in her 77th year.

Rublee is remembered as a much loved mother by daughter Marie Lucas and son Chris (Stacy) Davis of Bremerton, Wa. She will also be recalled with great affection by her grandchildren whom she adored: Jonathon (Donghyeon) Lucas, Samantha (Nick) Carrasco, Andrew Lucas, Collin Lucas, and Joseph (Hailei) Davis and by her great-grandson Hunter Lucas and great-granddaughters Mili Carrasco and Madi Carrasco.

Rublee is survived by her older brother John (Dagmar) of Homosassa, Florida, her nephew John, niece Christina, and nephew Jeremiah. She is predeceased by her eldest brother Harry Jr (Doris) of Inverness, Florida.

Rublee worked for many years at Sears after moving to Washington, first at the store in Bremerton and then moving with the company to the Silverdale mall. She enjoyed travelling and had strong affection for Texas and for Germany where she and her family resided during her Father’s Air Force Career.

Rublee valued volunteer work throughout her life and was a contributor to several organizations: Navy Wives Club of America, Toys for Tots, and was a member of the FOE Aerie 192 Auxiliary for many years, to name a few.

Rublee’s family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation who have gone above and beyond in their care of Rublee for many years, especially in the last months.

If so desired, and as your expression of sympathy, donations to either the Kitsap Toys for Tots through their Facebook page (toysfortotskitsap) or to the FOE Aerie 192 Auxiliary in Bremerton would be appreciated.
