Robert William Schofield

February 14, 1961 – January 28, 2021

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. residing in Tacoma, Washington in his later years.

The youngest of 10 children born to Edward and Maria (McGough) Schofield of Philadelphia, Pa,. He fought a long hard battle against cancer, never giving in, determined to go on with his life, fighting to his last breath. Predeceased by his parents and eldest brother Edward (Nancy), he is survived by James (Maureen), Anne Nonemaker (Richard), John (Christine), William (Catherine), Margaret Tomaselli (Frank), Andrew, Charles (Sandra), and Joseph. He leaves behind many saddened nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces, cousins and two loving Aunts Catherine Brady and Rita McGough. Bob was a wonderful man, big hearted, trusted and humorous with a warm smile and a loud laugh. Bob enjoyed making donuts and cookies for his family. Bob also liked Steven King movies, baseball, football, Flyers hockey, classic rock and Star Trek. He was a railroad train enthusiast. He volunteered his time working for a suicide hot line. Those that knew him from coast to coast spoke highly of him and he of them. He was greatly loved and his smile and sparkling eyes will be sorely missed by all those he leaves behind in grief.
