Ricky Allen Eaton

September 21, 1975 - August 17, 2021

“The Jewelry Man” of Pt. Orchard, WA.

Rick Eaton, 45, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2021, in Tacoma, Washington.

Rick was born in Key West, Florida on September 21, 1975, and lived most of his life in Port Orchard, Washington. He spent his final years with the assistance and care of Hope Human Services in Tacoma. Beginning at the age of seven, doctors removed brain tumor(s) on multiple occasions which greatly shepherded the course of Rick’s life from that point forward. Despite serious health challenges throughout his life, Rick was always known for his outgoing personality and his kindness. Rick was witty, giving, creative, and he made friends easily.

Children loved Rick, owing to his gift to communicate easily with them. He was also admired for the beautiful jewelry he made, sold, and often gave away, which lovingly earned Rick the name as “The Jewelry Man.” Rick dearly loved Jesus, his Heavenly Father, and his family. Everyone who knew Rick was touched by his generosity and his enthusiasm.

With his ongoing medical issues, Rick prayed for relief from his pain-filled body, and God answered that prayer when his soul was freed. Rick is survived by his parents: Pamela Baldschun (Dave) of Port Orchard, WA; Robert Eaton Sr. (Dee) of Anderson, SC, two sisters: Julia Barnes and Ginger Eaton, one Stepsister: Angel Pangia, several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

“Who and what we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
