I grew up with Paula. Our parents were friends for several years before we both came into the world and I always felt a special bond with Her. She was fun, outgoing, and exciting to be around. We had many good times and great laughs throughout All Saints and Bellarmine. Lonnie, Connie, Jeremy and Rob, my heart goes out to you all and i don't know what else to say, I am so sad. I love you.

There are no words that seem enough. I hope you remember that you were both excellent parents that brought safety, security and fun to Paula‘s life. She loved you both just as you loved her. Her smile lives on in my heart and will in yours. Her spark for life was inspirational to the likes of me who never took any chances. Her life was way too short but what a blessing to have her in it.

Connie, Lonnie and the boys. We were so sorry to hear about Paula‘s passing. She truly was a free spirit on the move. We so much enjoyed watching your kids grow up through your incredibly funny Christmas card photos. My favorite was the one where Paula was posed upside down between her brothers. Pretty sure they loved her being the center of attention. I have every Christmas greeting you ever sent and will look at them with Paula-joy in my heart. Prayers and love to you all. Dave and Ann.

Connie and Lonnie, I can’t begin to express the sadness that John and I are feeling over Paula’s passing and we know that it couldn’t begin to measure up what both of you must be feeling. We wish there was something we could do to help you during this troubling time. Our wish for you is that your memories will bring you comfort and the pain you are feeling will lesson. Her story tells of a life full of joy and adventure…

Dear Connie, Lonnie, Robb and Jeremy, We we shocked and devastated to hear of Paula’s sudden passing. We send you our love, our heartfelt condolences and we pray that God will be with you during this most difficult time. We will always remember the happy, beautiful soul that was Paula. She was the “sister” that Lindsey never had; she was her confidant, her partner in mischief, a spirit-lifter when she was down, her BFF who was always by her side. We remember the dress-ups, the giggles, the silly fun the two girls could find in almost anything—and Karl having to arm-wrestle her for the last Diet Coke on our boat trips! We will miss her terribly. Our time with Paula was far too short, but what time we had will be cherished. May God’s light shine on Paula and may He bring comfort to you in the memories of happier times with your beautiful daughter.

After reading Paula's heartfelt obituary, I wanted to add a quote that made sense to me about Paula's life. "It is not selfish to be happy. It is your highest purpose. Your joy is the greatest contribution you make to life on the planet. A heart at peace with its owner blesses everyone it touches." Alan Cohen My heart aches for the Weir family but Paula touched many lives in a positive way. The good news is that she made a difference for many. It seems like only yesterday that her little bubbly & talkative self, was present at our home ,when Nora was doing daycare. I do remember one thing, that she could hold her own with her brothers.
