Justin L. Korf

January 30, 1988 - December 29, 2020

Justin Korf

Justin Korf, loving son and brother, passed away on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. He was the son of Patricia Merritt and Dean Korf. He was born in Bremerton, Washington and lived in Silverdale, Washington. He left behind a large family who loved him dearly, including his mother, father, grandfather Rex Merritt, two sisters Jessica and Rachel, one brother, Randall, his beloved nieces and nephew, and two half-brothers Dave Korf and Don Korf.

Justin was a lover of the outdoors. He loved to fish, and you could find him at one of the lakes most weekend mornings during fishing season. He was quick to laugh, full of love, and a fierce protector of the people he loved. The first to give you a big bear hug if you were having a bad day, or do something to make you laugh. A student of Archaeology and Anthropology he graduated from Western Washington University in June of 2020 as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Justin worked for the Department of Emergency Management, distributing Covid testing and Personal Protective Equipment in the last year of his life. He loved to help others, and was loved and respected by his coworkers. Justin left behind a large group of people that have been touched by his presence, his laugh, and his light. He will be missed greatly by all.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be determined when gatherings are deemed safe again. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Special Olympics of Montana, Flathead Lake Buccaneers team. Please follow the links at SOMT.org to “donate now” and choose in memory of Justin Korf to ensure all donations support the appropriate team.
