Janice Sue Linnemeyer

November 4, 1943 - October 20, 2021

Janice Sue (Paul) Linnemeyer, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2021 surrounded by the love of her immediate family. Janice was born November 4th, 1943 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Harry Paul and Roma White. She was married to Terry Lee Linnemeyer on December 5th, 1964 and moved to their home and her final resting place in Roy, Washington in 1979.

Janice loved to love people. She tole painted, and crocheted blankets for her family. She also shared her love with food such as homemade spaghetti sauce, yummy salads, sandwiches and peanut butter cookies! Beyond cooking, Janice loved to laugh and had the world’s best smile. She could often be found surrounded by friends or family sharing stories and giggling until tears rolled down her face. Her contagious joy and unabashed laughter will be something that will live on in all of our hearts.

She also was an avid Seattle Mariners and Seahawks fan, loved beautiful jewelry and decorations, had an unrelenting sweet tooth and was as patriotic as they come; she loved the American flag, the colors and the music.

For many years, Janice worked as a housekeeper to a handful of people, and it really did suit her servant’s heart. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She was one of the most selfless people you could have ever hoped to meet, and you were blessed to know her.
Janice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Terry Linnemeyer, her son Rodney (Kathy), daughter Melissa, grandchildren Rachel, Terry, Courtney, Kori, two great grandchildren, her sister Judy Reid, brother John (Donna) Paul and many nieces and nephews. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
