George Santos Bernardo

February 22, 1950 - September 4, 2021

U.S. Veteran

George Bernardo, formerly of Yona, was called to his eternal rest on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at the age of 71.  He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and the United State Postal Service for another 20 years.

In his new life, George will be greeted at the Gates of Heaven by his:

Parents: Guillermo and Teresa Bernardo;

Parents in-law: Joaquin and Maria Borja.

Brothers & Spouses/In-laws: Joaquin & Jane Bernardo and Tomas Bernardo

Brother/Sister-in laws and Spouses: Sr Lydia Marie, SSND; Pedro and Maria Laguana, Alice Borja, Joseph Eustaquio, Francisco Iriarte


His LOVE will forever be missed and etched in the hearts of his:

Children & Spouses: Mark & Gina Bernardo (Jasmine (A’niyah); Keilani, Ian, Mark Jr, and Aaliyah; Michele & Stacy Yamada (Franklin, Trent, Francine & Christopher Huff (Keoni), Kristin, Franchesca (Gregory Jr), Frankiana and Kaleah); Melissa & Alex Stoker (Natalie & Raven)

Viewing will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Tuell-McKee Funeral Home in Tacoma.  Memorial Service to be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11am at St Vincent De Paul Parish in Federal Way with interment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
