I will, until the end of my days miss our wonderful Edna. She always brought back memories of my family's Dakota roots, Dakota sharing, and Dakota love. Though my privilege of knowing her spanned just over a decade, it was obvious from the beginning that she was someone special in the hearts of everyone she touched. Every time I saw her, she was always in motion, taking this person to the doctor, that person grocery shopping, or performing something for our church. It was my honor to be able to deliver her flowers, sent by her niece on Mother's Day weekend, and to be able to visit with her during this awful pandemic. She was so comforting to me, as she explained just what was going on, and how accepting and faithful she was, as she prepared herself for her soon to be passing. We prayed together one last time, and as I left, I was once again uplifted by her faithfulness, and strength, which so many of us lack. I will miss her until we reunite in Paradise, and once again have the joy of our friendship. God's Peace to her family. You were so blessed to have her.
