I have so many memories from weekends & holidays at Grandma & Grandpa's house and always looking forward to the times that Aunt Barbara & Uncle Sherman (Eldrid) and the kids would be there. Later when my husband, myself and our 3 children went to visit Aunt Barbara & Uncle Sherman at their home in Orting, they welcomed us and we talked like it hadn't been years since we'd seen each other. You could feel the love and joy. Sending my love to all of you.

I loved when Barb would come to pick up James from daycare. He was always so happy to see his gramma and I loved getting time to visit with her. She was one of the kindest women I have ever met. She loved her children & grandkids with every cell in her body and was an amazing helper to children in the community. All the kids loved "Grandma" Barb. .

My head and heart have not truly wrapped around the facts that you are gone. Many years would pass between meetings, and as soon as i was with you, it was as if no time had passed at all. I know you were capable of expressing anger, I saw it one time...just one time. Your calm nature, and gentle way were always the most effective. You always made me feel loved and welcome, I always felt calm in your presence, and I feel the loss of that in this earthly plain. You are rare and unique, through trial and tribulation, you always saw the good in others. You have left behind a great legacy, be proud, and rest now. Love you!!
