I graduated with Barb from Aberdeen High School. We've kept in touch through class reunions and Class of 65 Ladies Luncheons. We started hanging out with Barb and Pam to compare notes from travels abroad. We also enjoyed making raspberry jam every year together in my kitchen. Fabulous, generous, witty and a true friend. I'll miss you Barb.. Heavenly hugs, Bev

Auntie Barbara, you are so incredibly missed. The past 17 years of my life have been spent being apart of this amazing family, and I was not ready for you to leave us. I loved how you always treated me kind, from day 1. You took my son every summer for his special “week at Auntie Barbara’s” and I am so glad he gets to treasure those memories. You were so thoughtful and always thinking of others. My favorite memory is one that I got to re-live a few times, and that was when you played Santa for the kids when they were little. The adults would be in hysterics! Listening to your best “HOHOHO Meeeerrrrry Christmas!!” impression. Meanwhile the 5 little ones stared at you in wonder and their facial expressions said it all. I don’t think any of them ever figured out that it was you! Haha Unlike the “Paa-pa Santa” experience/memory that I will forever have! 100% pure joy and memorable experiences. From the early days of me coming to your old house and taking the ferry over, to summer visits at your new lake home. You truly are and we’re a fabulous, special, caring and generous woman. I am so grateful that I can say that you were my Aunt and I got the chance to know you and be in your life. I love you now and forever. Love, Alexa
